| Range | Listed botanical name | Product forms |
|---|---|---|
| Tulsi | Ocimum sanctum | Essential oil, hydrosol, herbal tea and fresh leaves |
| Basil | Ocimum basilicum | Essential oil, hydrosol, herbal tea and fresh leaves |
Start with the name on the specification
At VG Naturals, Tulsi is listed as Ocimum sanctum and Basil as Ocimum basilicum. Common names can be used differently across supplier listings, so a request for “basil oil” alone may not identify the product you intend to source. Include both the commercial name and botanical name in your enquiry and confirm them against the supplier’s product information.
Then choose the product form
Our Tulsi and Basil ranges each include essential oil, hydrosol, herbal tea and fresh leaves. These are separate products with different purchasing requirements. A manufacturer seeking an oil should specify essential oil; a buyer seeking fresh leaves should give the quantity and delivery location. Do not assume that one form can replace another in a formulation or recipe.
Compare samples before a bulk decision
Listed essential oil and hydrosol evaluation packs are 50 ml at ₹150 and 100 ml at ₹225. Evaluate the selected product against your own application and procurement requirements. Small-pack prices do not establish the bulk rate. Bulk pricing, MOQ, packaging and availability are confirmed separately.
Fresh leaves require a delivery check
Fresh Tulsi and Basil leaves are listed at ₹150 per 500 g. Harvest availability and delivery feasibility must be confirmed before ordering. For a commercial enquiry, specify the botanical name, quantity, delivery PIN code and when the material is needed; a requested date is not a confirmed delivery promise.
